Frage von Mellops:Hello,
I have time a dringede question.
So I have s.Montag ordered the HV20, assuming that it has AV-in (the curse of the Internet that misinformation gets everywhere, even on official sites like the Canon Australian Av-in/-out).
Now I wonder whether there is another possibility is a helmet camera s.die HV20 s.zu close? Would be glad if someone could reply as soon as possible.
Thank you very much

According to
Page 75 of the manual, it has an analog input and can be of where synonymous in DV (no HDV) record.

no more than analogy dv! but can then helmcam ....: o)
Antwort von leroc:
@ Tiktok can you tell me how?
So that's complicated or if the AV port s.der camera in and out?
Antwort von leroc:
The instructions are at least in the "DV - Standard" ie 720 × 576 pixels and 50 fields per second.

Thank you very much synonymous s.dich guest, the pages you've called to say a lot about my problem. If I do not quite understand is the wrong AV-out synonymous while the AV-in on him because of, for example, a VCR or television stations and that's when I need the helmet camera synonymous or have I got this wrong? Analog = analog source source.
And there is actually standard DV
"You can video of an analog video source (VCR, TV, etc.) in DV - standard on the tape in the camcorder to record"
Thanks in advance
I would be looking again if you could confirm (or halt expose as false).
Had a huge startled me after the Canon hotline said that the camera does not have AV-in, then I would have it against the HV-10 exchange to the stupid in your hand.

The instructions are at least in the "DV - Standard" ie 720 × 576 pixels and 50 fields per second. Then everything is clear: There are analog devices connect s.die HV20, which converts them into digital signals and to store them on the MiniDV tape - just as other camcorders do synonymous. I was just surprised that the loud Instructions HV20 DV recording on the analog input should be accepted.

Good well and a high on the support of Canon synonymous nor has cost money.
But in the product description is not synonymous. Think that the wish that the people with helmet cameras, the HV10 will therefore buy only in the AV-in with advertised ^ ^
Antwort von Bernd E.:
Does ... but in the product description is not synonymous with ... Which description do you mean? On the Canon website for the HV20 is twice the AV input referred (even its function is explained), and everything is detailed in the Operating Assessment. Secrecy is different from ...

I have here now synonymous an HV20 and a 560er Fingercam - I can signal to the synonymous and digitized Camdisplay see through, but not record, because the cam to the PLAY mode and needs to be asked because it does not nunmal Recording.
If anyone knows how to do this, I would be grateful for a tip - at the moment is that my AV input as a pure represent the people - an AV-> DV Converter synonymous get cheaper :-(
Addendum: I have it right. Complicated is not really, but it goes and is synonymous in the manual is correct - you need only read the correct Page ;-)
