Hi,

I hope my posting is s.der right place, I'm here for the first time.
I had me a long HV 20 in labor decision in Amzon bought and would like to briefly report.

1. Amazon service was as always astrein.
2. Decision basis for the HV20 was in all the forums and reports vaunted image quality, despite many shortcomings! But a camera should be yes to all the first top-images can produce.

3. Results:
- The picture quality is really super. Resolution / Color performance really at its finest.
- Sound quality is acceptable, my previous Sony (TRV8100) is comparable.
- Body Soundproofing: extremely bad. Similarly, the backward attenuation. You hear the breathing noise is already very clear! The drive noise, which in many test reports angekreidet will be far less disruptive and in the context of what a Taperecorder will deliver. The handling of any buttons, either the joystick or zoom leaves Knackgeäusche fierce, so strong that during the recording, I better not have eingestelllt. With some caution, however, you can zoom.

I wonder however, why camcorders always a giant Tele is built, and the Wide Angleist quite poor. ... I had made attempts synonymous with an intent WW (Hama). In addition, of the reduced image quality, it's already a disaster: aruf adapter, Adapters down. (The picture you get safely with a better intention synonymous better way, which I saw not so closely).

The lack of offense really Anglewar Wide # 1, followed the same of the bad acoustic decoupling of the control elements.
The fact that you 870 ¬ for a plastic toy in the hand gets, I would have still swallowed, because the device after a certain time anyway well accustomed to handle.

I will now arrange time a HC7, let's see what they can. Originally, it was my first choice, but then had too much to read about the lack of color ... perhaps this is not so dramatic.

Postprocessing:
I work with VdL 2007 under Windows XP s.einem P4 with 3GHz and 2GB RAM ... and was horrified! My DV videos are quick to render and edit as HDV already slows down dramatically. Already in the timeline jerky is very unpleasant. Now my machine but so lousy garnicht ????? I thought before!

So your box is in video editing in today's era has not really lame box ....
So I have already NEN C2D laptop with 2 GHz and its 7700 go + 2 gb ram.
My main computer is an average of E66 @ 3.4 GHz with 2 gb ram and it works quite fast.

But trozdem nice of you, you make the painstaking and detailed what to write here.

WW: clear, I would have hoped for something Edleres increased. I wanted my first time an overview of the camera provide. Indeed. The power up, power down is a nuisance for you, and I can well understand that you have a camera would prefer that a larger WW area. Take it anyway not personally if I take this action as a typical film-call for Sunday. The professional equipment, the more there is to change and mitzuschleppen, tripod, monitor, microphone, Headphones, Lenses, filters, matte box, etc. A small adapter WW falls because in the truest sense of the word, not weight.

What I would recommend for HD editing can be.
Ehm ja würd PC when I nem Intel Quad or Dual Core draw ... so expensive are not synonymous and we must bear in mind what the camera took.
Well then 2 GB of memory and evt NEN Raid 0

At a semi equipment HV20 but heard no more likely to be something FX1, A1, etc. This also, of which already house with approx 32mm focal ones.
The Manufacturer of camcorders know exactly where they have to save, good wide-angle lenses are much larger and more complex in structure and therefore more expensive than standard lenses. A telephoto zoom lenses to achieve is not a bizarre art, but a reduction in the wide area.
