Hello,
I've been today in possession of a Canon HV30 and have properly installed the CD, I have followed the CAM s.den PC, but it is doing is purely garnicht - ie, the PC does not recognize the CAM! Have to "Play mode", as it is in the manual!
Relation is the CAM using the supplied cable (Firewire to USB)
I do something wrong?

... Linked is the CAM using the supplied cable (Firewire to USB) ... Well, hopefully, is the "only" a firewire cable! That would be the right way to watch videos on the PC. With USB you will not be as far - and a Firewire to USB cable, the camera determines not ;-)

Think is "just" the cable with my HV20, it was exactly so.Firewire card and cable (4 to 6) purchased, with HDV split the erkannt.Betriebssystem Cam Vista Home Premium.Bei is the software I'm still s. search.

what is with HDMI out? Because my PS3 has HDMI cable and my laptop also has an HDMI connection, so then I can maybe connect the camera, because the HV30 has a HDMI synonymous has ... only if I know someone in the cable PS3 can, or whether I have a special need?

This is only via Firewire.
And went to my predecessor HV-20 is not in XP and Vista ....

sowas is thought synonymous with HDMI - not! Firewire - then this is a joke, because there is no Firewire cable is only USB and that does not work!

Sowas geht schon with HDMI, you only brauchts just an HDMI input and what thou hast s.deinen notebook with great probability is only one HDMI output to be.
But then you would need for example the Blackmagic Intensity (PCIe card) and which you will probably not be in your notebook reinbekommen since you will still buy you the same magma ExpressBox, vorrausgesetzt your laptop has an ExpressCard/34 slot. The whole is not cheap, because you will with a FireWire cable, a lot less of them ...

USB funbktioniert not? Have you actually ever read the manual? It is fact that you have with the USB cable to your S tandbilder can.

have recently launched a HV 30 and am more or less successfully s.Testen. With the Camera, I-assessed if the past-satisfied, but had several problems with the handling. Despite firewire cable of Canon recognizes my editing program (Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 PROs) the camera, but the freeware program HDV Split. Working with the program overall is ok, but I could still render a single movie! (see my post under "Ulead software." If you capture the meantime succeeded? MfG Colo.
