I got the HV30 increased (they KAHMEN today with the Post Office).
After filming ausgibiegem test, I therefore s.meine Widows Vista Home Premium PC via Firewire s.allerdigs until after I attached the software installed. And
nothing happens. After several adjustments to try and still nothing happens. (Also, the USB connection funktionirt not).
So I visited this forum and hope to help.

And what do you even with "nothing happens"? Also no "Pling" for a new device found?

The IEEE1394 is also active, there are no synonymous pling or a popup.
Have here in the forum of someone who just read the FireWire port (s.der Camera) is damaged, it is synonymous with me villeicht the case.

The software used with the Canon Cam is sent only to the USBVerbindung and download the photos of an optional SD card thought. This is no software to pull down the videos from the tape!
The video does not get to the calculator. Here you'll need a capture tool such as HDVSplitt (but not if you put the videos in Sony Vegas want to edit) or a NLE, which includes such a thing.

Yes I have the Cam in the Play mode angehabt and I assume that the whole Priemiere with elements capturn leaves. As always synonymous, I just wanted to say that the camera itself via usb was not recognized.

Yes thank you @ all ich habs net estmal with another firewire cable usb probiert as synonymous (because of the lack of sd card) was not. Now, with another FireWire cable is the issue.
