Hi Daniel,
We have been streaming WMV powerful WinXP notebooks, which are all "simple" processors have. The utilization was at perhaps 70-80% for DV playback with deinterlacing, scaling to 640 x 480, Compression to WMV format and delivering the video data via SDSL s.eine Streamingfarm.
Ask me but not by computer details. When streaming projects, I still always s.einer of the cameras and have the PC Page let the professionals. ;-)
