I have an XM1 and XM1 ask myself just to sell and buy a hc1 for it.
But I would ask a few more:
Can downcodiertes dv (hdv-> dv the hc1 with) the colors and the sharpness of the match XM1?
has a built-hc1 nd filter?
You can adjust the zoom geschwindichkeit?
or after you see what advantages of the XM1 for hc1?

It is certainly prudent to wait for a few months on the hard disk SR 1, which is expected with all the HC 1 in the shade, especially thanks to its high data rate and the new CMOS sensor.
HC 1 built-in neutral density filter? activated no - Auto-looking built-in may - is not the rauszubekommen so simple, and has installed the Canon MVX 4i / 45 i has a switch on the car to know from my post in about 3-5 months synonymous not so many video forums - such information are almost never on company pages - unfortunately only rauszubekommen Canon / Sony employees.

soo, erstmal thank you for your reply.
but I have decided to keep only once to XM1. had long been thinking about before and cons and have decided to handle that with a great camcorder with 3ccd, more manual setting possibilities and the practical rather than so ne kleine hdv cam.
hdv is of course great, but I'd rather wait until the fx1 is needed for 2200 or so gets, so if the successor of the outside is fx1 (fx7)?

I think the successor of Canon XM2 almost synonymous but not bad ...

Yes yes, I did the last time, much liked synonymous with XM 2 filmed and good manual functions, but it is synonymous with a camera PAL resolution. At the new Super HDTV tube TV (yes not quite fit together but gibts!) Of Phillips, or even longer before seen LCD, plasma or Rückprofernsehern see the Picture of HC 1 / HC of 3 is better by miles.
Who irgenwann time switching to new technology, comes s.einer HDV Camera not over ....
