Hi!
I have for my DV editing a brand new notebook growth, with
120GB hard disk. Actually, there is on my notebook,
only the Windows / Office package and Pinnacle just (and the photo editing program Adobe Elements 2.0). So one can say that the hard drive is almost empty. Well, I have the Pinnacle 2 films loaded inside each film lasting less than an hour, and 2 videos to cut (1x around 24 minutes, 1x 12 minutes).
PROBLEM: now it is no longer open or save,
because the notebook says it would have been too few resources for this (less than 1 MB of storage ?!??). times I do believe that the problem many s.den Pinnacle crashes lies, and that Pinnacle in the background, a kind of temporary files created. There is every reason, at least, because every time pinnacle crashes when it has always re-start the last present version, without that there is a loss of data there.
There's someone with similar problems? Summary: I'm really newbie-video, and must say that pinnacle completely intuitive to use, but of stability can not really talk about. I'm almost at the superior to the competing product of Adobe move (at least photographically, I am with the Adobe Photoshop products is always very good "mileage") ... :-( (

now after I already read something useful here, I think my times synonymous kund do.
I have the Pinnacle Studio version 9.1 concerned (I do not know which version you have installed) and do not have as good results, I had very often synonymous crashes. The program built-in update feature told me it's no newer version available. On the homepage of PinnacleSys, I have version 9.4 (almost 70 MB) downloaded and installed. Since the program runs very stable, I had no more crashes.
Well, the file crashes the corpses of course you have to clean up ...
