I just wanted to ask, which is a Hi8 recorder is still so expensive? I have 2 broken cameras and want my tapes Digitizer and almost covered by stool what the cost. I also think only sony device? can that be;)

If you are from the EVS-9000 to speak - is simply one of the best Hi8 recorders that have ever existed. But why are you looking for digitizing ever after a Hi8 recorder? I would look at a (now no longer available new) Digital8 camcorder to obtain, the digitizer can Hi8. It can not all D8-boxes, we must take care.

I also think only sony device? can that be;) Yes it can, because Video8 and Hi8 are systems from the home Sonyand my knowledge no other manufacturer has stationary recorder designed.

EBay is quite a lot lately scrap offered. Therefore, at higher (!) Sale price: device and collect the essential functions over to check!
