Need a device with which you can play Hi8. Since the analogy works so sure there unterhschiede between different devices.

Would now ask, what of the two devices is better

SONY EV-S1000E

SonyEV-C2000E

or else there something else comparable aufm market

I would be grateful if someone could help.

Hi Tom,

to analog days was the EV-S1000 higher value than the EV-C2000. Since I did not have both but I can not say more about it.

As you'll find a lot about Video8 and Hi8 recorders for amateurs. If I read correctly, there are a few of them even to borrow.

Would something against a Digital8 device to speak? If the recordings are not too critical, would be a new TRV480 with warranty may be an alternative?
