Hi, I'm here as a forum member was new and clueless.
My Hi8 Cassettes - aufgnommen in a SonyTR805 - are finally on DVD. However, I've noticed that sometimes when the tapes quite a lot s.Qualität lost. One of the tapes have plenty of quality problems. The cassette had twice then down twice and her wound. The playback quality will become better. The cassette synonymous qietscht and out again. What is the typical cause? Glued the strip material against each other? What to do when such a cassette? Multiple rewind? And screwing the coil into an existing housing to rebuild - and if so, sowas works at the first installation attempt, without damaging the tape or destroying it?
Or play it as a pedestal, the better mechanics, more powerful drives / tape guides have, such as the Upright SonyHi8-EV-S9000E?
I have someone here with s.Ort phone that such a-Freestanding SonyHi8 EV-S9000E and has his tapes directly transferred to a DVD disc into a Liteon DVD recorder (as MPEG2?) Before they call s.Computer revised (I mal Method 1)?
Is there Digital8 camcorders, which are particularly empfehlenwert?
Or combine the SonyHi8 Freestanding EV-S9000E with such a Digital8 camcorder, where it has enabled the S-Video input as AD converter used for? (Method 2)
It is not clear to me how rüberbekommt synonymous with the sound, you can re-program the sound - Out jacks synonymous to "in"?

general estimation is unfortunately not predict which of these methods gives better results. I usually try out several combinations, if I critical Video8 or Hi8 get shots. I usually then use Digital8 a device, because it is usually the better quality (in particular the number and strength of drop-outs on). If that's not enough, I may still switch to a separate TB and noise filter.
When a tape is going badly, it can stick together are dealing with one of the belt material, it must not. A reconstruction of the coils into a new cassette housing brings in the case of tack anything because the new case so no influence on the tape itself. Rewind is a common way to loosen the tape and to make the box again to commonplace. I have a SonyEV-S9000E and have digitized my Hi8 tapes as follows:
MiniDV Camera with AV-in (eg. SonyTRV-50 or HC1000) is connected via Firewire s.PC. Hi8 Recorder with S-Video and Audio - RCA s.den AV input of the camera. Scene capture with off Sclive and optical detection (camera control!). The EV-S9000E has a built-in TBC (Time Base Corrector). Even with me when the tapes squeak, but I just ignore times. The material is subsequently submitted to an AVI file.
Dub Vo Towards a Liteon DVD recorder directly to DVD in MPEG2 and deleting text, I believe nothing. S.PC to cut MPEG2 is not necessarily the great joy.

The analog-digital conversion function of a camcorder, so for MiniDV camcorders just as well as in a Digital8 recorder? If you think the fact that the camcorder is leaked to an analog signal and transmitted via Firewire s.den PC, then your assumption is correct.
If you are the Hi8 recording, however, directly in the Digital8 camcorders can play, then the quality is better, especially as regards the number and strength of drop-outs. The latter were at times Hi8 always a bugbear.

Ok Audio signalmäßig always running separately but are steckverbinderseitig the audio channels, together with the composite signal wiring runs, while S-video is indeed more like plug mW separately and run the audio channels, then through another cable.

A new MiniDV camcorder, I would prefer to buy at the high ebay prices for used Digital8 camcorders.
The currently marketed SonyDCR-TRV460E, the AD converter is still work and the DCR-TRV480E anymore? For the latter, you can not use instructions in Sonyherunterladen and the good man in our local shop has no S-video in the Technical Reference. Data found.
Is there an overview which irgwo camcorder manufacturer that had the AD converter function. As far as I Sonynachgesehen guidance on the operation, should that all of the 20 series, DCR-TRV420E DCR-TRV820E, up, other research only on "youth" activations.
