this article Slascam As far as right?
It was proposed as a way in which Postpro s.ein program to pass the "float", ie the video in a larger bit depth "treated".
So HDV s.After unchanged Effects on, and what does AE mean? A higher bit depth means synonymous but provides a higher data rate, so the result can surely be no more HDV? Or does "float" that AE, for example, while I color filter, sometimes
it does, as if it were not 8-bit video processor and with graphics card or a higher bit depth simulated? And then what? As the HDV output again?
The background for my question is that I have always been with small quality losses had expected to experiments with wild colors. But that was formerly in After Effects as well as in Shake (both floaters). I was not aware of the problem. Had I not allowed ausrendern DV?
I would be grateful for literature synonymous tips on this topic. Maybe the penny in your answer, but that is only 8-bit understanding ...

As far as I understand it: Your video is divided into 8-bit. The importierst you into After Effects and schal test there on 16-bit. You have much more leeway to carry out your color etc. The output is, however, then again in 8-bit, but without all the losses and artifacts.
Am currently in the process that AE trying times.

In two earlier books on AE 5.5 (Galileo and Classroom in a Book), I just bit relating to the general notice is found that with certain codecs a renderer in 16 bits is possible. Deprecated likely. It seems to have shifted to this whole issue previously have not done head.
But you're right: There is such a floating node in Shake synonymous, apparently with the output format has nothing to do. I try, an extreme range of color only in Final Cut Pro to do the same and then later to shake and float into the HDV project back to Comparison.
