Frage von Sheera:Hello,
I burn me at the time so my old VHS to DVD. I've synonymous widescreen movies, but not a widescreen television. The picture is therefore also always so small, which annoys me a long time. I dub the films with the VCR in PowerCinema into the PC (which is, unfortunately, with any of my other Programs. Either I get no picture, or they hang themselves). The only s.Rande. The format is then MPG.
But now I seek a program that can convert my widescreen movie into a 4:3-film. I've TMPGen Pros at 4:3 (the two options 4:3, which has the set): Has been nothing that was still wide. Then I at V-Copy 4:3 pan and scan set, synonymous not help it. The Progs edit the film, but he is and will remain wide.
Does anyone know of a program to you, with whom I can umwandleln the format of the movies in widescreen 4:3? Possibly. Even a freeware program that I can invite me here somewhere?
Or am I just too stupid to hire my own distinct Programs? But what am I doing wrong?
Love you very much for your help!
Greeting
Sheera

Sheera hi,
your VHS material already has the format 4:3.
The black stripes are one of your image content. Since you can not do anything.
Antwort von Acer:
Theoretically you could cut out a portion exactly in 4:3, which moves left and right to the image information.
Since 16:9 but has a lower horizontal Resolutionals 4:3, the Resolutioninsgesamt after Verhältniswechel worse, because the pixels must be interpolated to fill the entire 768 x 576 area.
Watch 16:9 movies s.4: 3 TV net is still bad. What I do not wustte was that we started with VHS synonymous in 16:9 format.
Ciao, and good luck,
Philip

On the subject of image formats:
Synonymous I know people who look at the beautiful Extents 4:3-mail on a 16:9 screen. When asked whether or not to feed the large nerves, it is then said tersely ... "Accustomed as we are it."
From Pillar to know nothing. Apparently, the man with 2 screen sizes completely overwhelmed.
Happy to be synonymous with gemotzt old Cineramaklassikern in 1:2,2, which can be seen in spite of the great new flat TV IMMERNOCH black bands. Or one is the concern about "comical special formats" like 1:1,59.
Horrible, I think those who want a Cinelook, and their tired lit (if at all light has been used to equip) movies with such thick letter boxes, just so that you can still see something. Cinelook is not a question of the format. Many movies are quite large, despite 1:1,33 Movies (Eyes Wide Shut).
But now, even to your question: Why do you want to destroy your movies because with Pan & Scan? Many (but not most) Filmmakers make himself eternally for dramatic reasons, think about the composition in the squad, and you want to simply cut off '? Sharper the picture is by the way, do not inflate.
