Thanks for all the know than I do! The MV960 has a DV output (Firewire or iLink synonymous with Sonygenannt). If your PC has a connection, then you can use the movie to the hard drive to copy (without loss of quality). This extends the already Windows XP own program Movie Maker.
If this connection is not available, then a FireWire card at the local computer store for around 10-15 euros after the purchase and installation of the supplied cable (should be supplied with the card includes) with Camera and Calculator link.
