Hello,
have a 16:9 movie in mpeg2 which must be encoded and without the annoying black bars.
Unfortunately, I can not be limited to 1024 to 576 switch, because the value always goes back to 720!
In one, the mpeg1, but so I can not work.

Mpeg2 used only useful for output to DVD. I presume you mean something else, you want
the calculator to see no black bars. Then read
this his square pixels. And, as I said, except for DVD Mpeg2 is not a useful codec that H.264 is the best so far X.264 = = = Mpeg4 AVC.
