The VX1000 is as old as time but knew nobody, which is 16:9. Or in other words, you can not 16:9.

The VX1000 is as old as time but knew nobody, which is 16:9. Or in other words, you can not 16:9. But (Open the battery compartment, the mode switch is tiny ahinter hidden). It's just not a "true" 16:9 Camera, of which it is in DV Cams anyway and not many were still there. The recording is always in 576x720 Pal, in the "real" 16:9 cameras (which would be the Canon XL2) scans only the chips in higher Resolutionab. This means better quality, synonymous if what lands on the tape, with just as many pixels dissolved. The VX is a good cam, 4:3 when their dignity is respected and they are not "hoodwinked" leads (no Lowlight).
Antwort von tv-man_sh:
The VX1000 has just 4:3-chips. This is what the manual described, is ultimately synonymous only simple Aufzoomen.

Hello
There are, thank God, in this forum a few people who know of what they are talking. The rest falls under the category I do not understand the technology, so must be a "New," her. Background knowledge to acquire is too expensive in unsererSpassgesellschaft.
Have fun with the VX 1000 - it is far from done with a quality and robustness of the current camcorder can only dream of.
