Frage von Ossi:Moin from Ostfriesland!
For many years I films with video (now Digital) and additional microphone.
Unfortunately, the shooting of overhead railways (synonymous outdoor power lines) the disadvantage that the additional micro-I (JVC of 1988 for 100, - DM) should come because the shield does not work.
With the built-Micro, now Canon MV 900, is audio control and windbreak but rather inappropriate.
I have even a Hama-sensitive micro-ordered, but the growling synonymous with electricity, I could give it back because the problem I had described previously.
Since I am more and more synonymous with overhead s.Strecken movies, I no longer restrict tonmäßig and with additional micro work - but without the hum / Sound "flutter" (as in the fog under a heavy line).
Who can recommend me a Micro, which really can?
Pain threshold would be 100 - 150 ¬.
Thank you + Greeting
Helmut

How do I manage it, an expensive synonymous Microphone is with this camera you do not help. What you need is a symmetric transmission of Microphone on Camera. So a professional XLR - microphone, an XLR - and a CameraLink cable with a XLR - Male has. These are large and round. An adapter does not help you because then again unbalanced transmission comes out, and the most expensive back in the MicroStation cheap, sensitive asymmetric transfer suffers.

In addition, many consumer microphones with plastic housings come along who are not adequately protected against electromagnetic influences offer. Better would be a Faraday cage (= metal) that prevents it comes to induction.
