I had a few days ago the opportunity the new JVC GY-HM100 test. More info can be found in the blog on my page, including a few photos I've shot them. See my signature.
A cool part, which in April / May on the market. My opinion ... Just read yourself. I answer questions as far as I can here in this thread.

The HM100 interested me because of some weaknesses currently foreseeable rather only as a possible backup camera for a possible main camera GY-HM700, but precisely for that reason:
Can you already say something to Lowlight behavior (including room and lighting)?
How well does the Image Stabilization?
HM100 really has no chance, a rear camera via LANC control, remote, or what ever synonymous adapter?
And most importantly: When you have a GY-HM700 for testing? ;-)

Material you can not even post? What codec is used when in the HM100. MOV container is being recorded? I am interested in the camera, mainly due to the small size.

The Camera is ideal for holding synonymous video reporters and VJs.

Cam, I would not too much of the professional side judge, but rather as a response to the synonymous here repeatedly expressed desire of advanced amateurs for a proper device to see.
Unfortunately speak the 1 / 4 "sensors do something about it and synonymous with the beginning of focal length 39 mm is rather a joke and will only come back to Weitwinkelvorsätzen lead (28-32 mm would be required).

Hi,
So, very briefly to the many questions. I had it for a few hours in the hands. It was a prototype. So went to the example of the Image Stabilization yet. The handle is usually in the process was only at the plant remained. The pictures in the living room, refer to the photos. Of course I have made recordings, but I can not online. I can only write about it. But it all comes yet, just patience.
To conduct LowLight I can not say when it was dark the show is gone.
Also on the codec and the whole technical innards, it is still too early to say something. The plant is still s.der Cam. What with rear camera is operating times can I ask. Costs will probably be around 3.200, - around, but that is synonymous not yet final. The idea is for people like me, I'm looking for a good second camera, small, handy and yet with a professional tool and drin dran. Thus, I would of course synonymous all my vacation movies.
Also, it was once a first hands-on and soon there will be more secure.
