Hello everybody!
The title I have mentioned is a problem with my firewire port.
In the Device Manager is before the "OHCI-compliant IEEE 1394 host controller" a
"!" yellow border. In the Properties (Device Status) is "The device can not start. (Code 10)", etc.
This error is my only noticed since I use my DV camera via firewire to connect to and this was not recognized.
Ok, so Win XP Prof SP2 I took 3 days to reinstall.
The FW port is of the ground up in the PC (Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P) with the front USB & Cardreadern etc. integrated.
Bezügl. my problem I have today, for example, a BIOS update made to various MS patches installed and the patch posted here to convert the necessary drivers (ohci1394.sy_ + 1394bus.sy_) of Sp1 used in SP2 - so far nothing has changed.
If I eg. the drivers for the controller update will come sometime the error "can not continue Failed accurate than the software already installed for the Hardwarekomp.gefunden be."
With the previously asked questions on this topic and the answers I do not come next, viell. jmd still has an idea?
If it brings anything, here an Everest report to post, then leave the setup. The length of leave but I just gone.

Look in the BIOS if you still happen because there ISTM sometimes the strangest things.
Maybe you have a CD synonymous to the main board with the appropriate drivers.
Can remember the VIA 630x often has problems as a driver from the network helped
(Also note what chip)
