Frage von martinnoweck:Good evening,
have the following problem and maybe someone can help me:
- I have a Quicktime file (Picture and Sound), SD-PAL, Avid Meridien Compressed codec, 720x576 pixel
this QT file is in an MPEG-2 program stream converted
- This program will stream the first s.besten Convert, ie first in Compressor Picture and Sound as separate files and then create it into an MPEG muxen may not be the player (player is very specifically based on CF cards and may only CBR 7008 kbps and sound as 44.1kHz)
- FFMPEGX and MPEG Streamclip does not work
- The card device man says that I am a software called SUPER to encode should use - the only works on Windows and crashes often from
my question:
- Anyone knows a program for Mac OSX as SUPER, FFMPEGX or MPEG Streamclip, which is directly from the QT with an MPEG2 CBR can do?
Best Regards,
Martin
Antwort von WoWu:
Hello Martin,
FFmpeg must work because the identical SUPERAntiSpyware library.
It also supports SUPER synonymous. MOV and QT formats.
So the "special software" is pretty universal and the player will swallow pretty much anything he offers.
Could it be that the file-conversion an error happened?
Otherwise, try it out tentatively MPEG1 ... if this does not work, it's not s.Encoding.

This should actually do so:
Instaliram get the ffmpeg command line utility for Mac OS (either via Fink or MacPorts) and urge it to:
ffmpeg-i <inputfile>-copy-vcodec mpeg2video-b 7008k-minrate 7008k-maxrate 7008k-acodec mp2-s.44100-s.224k <outputfile>
Since "Avid Meridien Compressed codec" nothing more than MJPEG, it should work without problems.

thanks for the reply and tips.
The problem has now changed, as the map units has been replaced.
I can theoretically an already existing MPEG-2 file to use, but unfortunately, the player can tolerate only "true" 16:9 files, that is my file (which is 16:9, but only in the monitor or beamer bruising correctly) is unfortunately misrepresented.
a re-encoding (with the compressor, I have said that it is a 16:9 file is) does the right seitenverhätlnis, but quality is not acceptable.
now my question:
I would be the MPEG-2 file reluctantly re-render or transcode of need and therefore wanted to ask if there is a possibility, the MPEG file in the header or else the info mitzugeben "You are now anamorphic" or something?
Best regards and many thanks in advance
Martin
