Hi,
I have no time for dinosaurs packages, the frontend should be idiot-proof (English or German), it is synonymous to run on older hardware (no HD) and his money worth. A quick search (in this forum) leads to the following candidates:
1) Adobe premiere element 7
2) MAGIX Video easy
3) Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6
4.) Pinnacle Studio (Pros)
5) Microsoft Windows Movie Maker
... without priority.
I would be synonymous important, Pictures and Music / Sound easy to synchronize and a standard format such as MPEG-2 to maintain.

I do not like "stable" or "fast" that is. But is free (except the codec pack, mpeg2 is optional.) And if you want more needs to change is the studio probably not so difficult.

PS. an earlier version of the software I would not recommend, as it with the old code with great stability problems. I would therefore on supply of Jogi13 to Version 9.3 do not.

Seriously: I think the surface of this video looks easy, but there really easy, although I am with my Canopus Edius system'm really not targeted.
Will it still download times and maybe my wife so s.mein hobby ranführen ... ;)

Berhard Joker! The Code of Pinnacle Studio version 11 is completely and was now equal to the code (not the functionality) of Avid Liquid, which is probably as a professional tool is beyond question.
Because the old code was buggy, I recommend this just is not!
... and of course I do not work for Pinnacle or Avid but so and am very satisfied!
PS. if you do not see regularly s.der reality check, so be it prejudices!

.... Now that some synonymous but write that you are very satisfied with the new versions and these are stable! Clearly, the cry is always s.lautesten who have problems. Often the problems are but synonymous s.schlecht implemented hardware drivers, cheaper hardware itself or other verhunzten PCs.
I can as a user of the software on their own experience to confirm that the software is stable. Cutting, now 18 months since (; version 11 and 12). Meanwhile, it should be 40 hours movie (everything HDV material) drübergelaufen be. Crashes are extremely rare (; had maybe 3 in the whole time) and they were never tainted with data loss. The program made just after the restart next s.der body where it abgestürtzt was (of course without repeating to time).
Conclusion: Good workflow, good feature selection, high stability - synonymous with Vista (; 64).
PS. In my PC I only have good brand components - but it should be quite normal.

I can from my own experience the software iMovie only recommend, very intuitive to use and free of charge here.

Have tried Magix video easy. Unfortunately there are problems for me with the titles, they are lost when burning. Can not explain it to me, but I try to ask this Magix.
Otherwise this is really an easy program.
