Frage von stantorley:'ve Read that it is better when shooting with the tripod of the camera image stabilization disable () better quality.
But what is with an optical image stabilization? This can not disable it. Should we, then, if you usually Tripod with better access to a camcorder filming with electric stabilizer?
Had until now the Panasonic GS280 in the eye.
Antwort von Schleichmichel:
The optical image stabilization (it should be as synonymous may be an optical) off it.
And you should disable these synonymous when the camera is on a tripod.

And you should disable these synonymous when the camera is on a tripod. But why is this so? The reason I have been in discussions not find it. On the tripod the Cam (but is relatively) stable because the stability it had nothing to do anyway, right?
'm Already looking forward to the clarification of views.

waving my opinion (and experience) is the only in accordance interesting. if the cam swivels on the tripod of stabilisator probably thinks it is an involuntary movement. then acts to cut off waving s.anfang ""

The optical image stabilization works like a pivot lag, so if you losschwenkt, remains the picture are still standing momentarily before then hinterherschwenkt hand. Conversely, if one stops driving the next still picture a bit. The stabilizer can not know in advance so that the cameraman wants to speed up or slowed down.
All this comes in hand-held camera in the general residual wobbling at (synonymous with stability, the picture looks so not as quiet as the tripod out). On the tripod, if you want precise swing, the delay can be annoying. It looks as though we prefer the swivel arm s.einem rubber rope.
Of course not something really bad happens when you leave turned on the stability on the tripod. For static images we see no difference, only when moving the camera. On the other hand, an optical image stabilization uses electricity, the people do not want to waste the battery unnecessarily.

Vice versa. The electronic stability requires almost no additional power, because he "only" the existing pixel converts information. An optical stabilizer has to implement the information supplied by the gyro sensor to a flash-lens movement, which of course goes to the battery life. As a result, the optical stabilizer looks as though the lens lies just in oil, but the technical background is considerably more expensive.

Reinhold Hello!
This is true not quite as synonymous, the optical stabilizer is electrically operated (and therefore of course synonymous Batteries consumed).
EDIT: Beiti was once again faster (and more detail ;-)
Antwort von beiti:
OT One more note: The terms "electric" and "electronical" are often jumbled, which may be synonymous lead to misunderstandings. A few days ago I read in the pros, the market quotation for a handwritten "Electronic winch. ;)
Antwort von oliver II:
"Electronic winch. ;) The work will probably only "virtual" ;-)

Thank you, men, is thus synonymous then the sense of stability addressed when working with disabled Tripod, and my question is fully understood.
