Hello,
in the manual on p. 48 describes that the OIS of the XH-A1 at half-pressing the PHOTO button (like Focus store in CARD mode) can be again. Since I often quickly from Tripod in the freehand mode would change me quite contrary to the function because I did not run into extra menu must change. Off can be so only in the menu (Camera Setup) ...
Unfortunately it seems that the function is not to go. Once I PHOTO CAMERA mode button will be hit the OFF symbol (p. 113 CARD mode), turning the image stabilization failed.

I now have my A1 is not at hand, but I have the manual in PDF format on the calculator. That, what you describe (Page 48), stands next to the comments and there is the symbol for "Camera Card" prefix. I can not try it now, but go because of the symbol assumes that it is only in the Camera Card mode, ie in the Photo mode works.

I understand the instructions so that, in the Still Image mode, pressing the PHOTO button synonymous briefly zuschaltet the stabilizer. Panasonic digicams often have 2 modes directly s.Gehäuse appropriate stability once more - this is the Picture s.LCD synonymous stabilized, which means you can see whether there is already what will be. The XH A 1 has 2 custom buttons that can be with all sorts of rubbish stock, not only with the stabilizer.
This is again a typical nonsense XH A 1 - the camera is not 100% out, just like the factory settings.
