Infoseite // Import of DV-camera (Panasonic NV-GS320EG) on laptop (Vista)

Frage von crysostomos:

Hello experts,

Since days I try to capture video of my fairly new (and in fact very good!) Panasonic Camera on the calculator to get (Medion laptop with Vista Home Premium). The supplied program (Sweet Movie Life) should be able, in principle, it is synonymous. But even if I use the (perhaps necessary) USB manually install the drivers and the system is "ready" signal, I can only import jewewils tape. Then the program displays: "camcorder not connected" to. It is absurd that I have only one cartridge can import, immediately after I created the new drivers installed. In the second cassette, he recognizes the camera more? Huh, can that be?

(Also "Magix Deluxe" recognizes the camera!)

Do you advice?

Danke, Gruß Wolfgang

Hello,

USB transfer is often overlooked or not as in your case, thanks to high-speed USB 2.0 interface with the supplied program.

The successor (GS 330) is a software to Vista - that sounds sometimes not good.

What is it with the regular transfer with firewire from? That should actually be better off - the external program support is synonymous with no problems.

2007 Panasonic MiniDV models with a Vista Calculator - unfortunately this is often not easy - as I have experienced was synonymous.

Hi Jan,

yes thank you first!

Because the USB cable while the camera was, of course, I first tasted so. Firewire cable and accessories is special to me, I must first obtain.

Vista is not my specialty, so just a basic idea: Would it instead of the driver installation may already meet the PC to reboot? - This would be synonymous a crutch, but it is not so cumbersome.

Since it is a Vista-based calculator that I want synonymous not so far from the windows refuse to argue with Firewire will do everything better. So far in the situation of DV camcorders such as the following linked contribution described, but Vista is still sometimes video problems.

Well, the "Media specialists from the market" ;-) What I have of so many "expert" have heard, since I have had my big fun, dazwischenzugehen and the customer to say what really matter.

But at least know the woman at least, that USB is not made, footage to be transferred! Although some camcorders it can still more or less ...

It is wrong, but that does not matter anyway because firewire is the better way.

I got even with USB 2.0 Highspeedfähigen cameras such as the GS 230 with USB and the included software to play on. The incoming signal was a DV AVI with 720x576. For Firewire gabs da no difference.

Is this a matter of opinion or fact that USB is not or only for the transfer of DV something good?

Have a Panasonic NV-GS90 and the problem is that those with Firewire under Windows did not recognize. With USB, I have not tried it yet, because I assumed that the USB port only for the transfer of digital photos is thought.

Irrespective of the fact that Firewire the better way may be, can I now my movies without any loss of quality synonymous transfer via USB 2.0?

With the 90 non-GS. The camera has a USB 2.0 high speed connection. So it is no GS 80 & 90th Only s.der Panasonic GS 230 has a USB 2.0 high speed connection installed. In the GS 80 & 90
It is a full speed, with its maximum of 12 Mbit / sec is too slow for the 25 MBit / sec material.

It is always synonymous big s.der da Camera Panasonic - DV Data Streaming 2.0 HS So zb GS 230, 320, 330 and 500th

JVC has made it synonymous times, Canon synonymous (eg MVX 4i), but both have since often only the Full Speed USB built.

To simply find out the data sheets of the Company through camcorder - Full Speed USB is too slow.
