I was considering the purchase of a Canon HV20. These 2 questions:

What is the included software to transfer the video recordings on the hard drive?

If during the transfer of video to the hard drive auto detect scenes and split?

nd whether the HV20 any software (except for some pictures) ..

But it is quite simple: you draw you HDVSplit (free) and can schedule your recordings via firewire including separation scene capture.
