Following problem:
After my holiday in England, I s.Videomaterial recorded on my SonyDVD Handycam several DVDs that I've played through SuperDVDRipper on my hard drive. The files were with the option to convert DVD to AVI in SuperDVDRipper and are now in the so-called XvID format on my hard drive and played back (in the lower right area of the video you can see) the DiVX characters.
So I would now like to cut all the videos and review, I have worried the shareware version of
Ulead MediaStudio Pro 8.0, and wanted to add the above files there, which does not work.
Here, I first created a new Project (Microsoft AVI) and then went on "Open File" and initially chose in my directory, the first to edit file. After I clicked on it in the menu item (previously I had the option "Select All Files"), was with the Ulead MediaStudio the message "File can not be opened" (warning 20213:2:2).
My question is: How can I get my file there in the timeline?
In Ulead VideoStudio 7 SE can I insert the above files easily - synonymous in Virtual Dub is this possible. Ulead Media Studio, however, I was just (essentially synonymous because of the title effects for SmartCompositor) better and wanted this program, if possible, synonymous like to use.
Maybe I can even help an "old hand", I here despair slowly. Thank you

MSP probably recognize the DivX codec, not because it was later installed as the codec. DivX codec or program that contains it reinstall Müster solve your problem.
