I did test yesterday of the pre-release of Win 7 on my notebook installed.
Good times do I have for the AVCHD files in Explorer, a thumbnail preview is displayed. As for me, but then really impressed was the fact that the Windows Media Player files could smooth play (videos of the HF S100 in 24Mbit).
My laptop has an Intel Core Duo T7250 @ 2GHz with 2GB memory. Now I have to Comparison VLC installed and had to find that these AVCHD videos only with extreme bucking could show.
I have neither WinXP nor Vista can play videos smooth, no preference which was set up Media Player.
Win 7 with Windows Media Player seems to be a new league to be.
Does that mean that the Windows Media Player codec to another play uses? And if so, how can I get vlc under Windows 7 to get the same advantage. Interesting would be synonymous for DV editing. Maybe you can synonymous in Win XP integrate.
It shows synonymous that AVCHD is still not 100% supported. Now I have a quad extra PC to increase AVCHD natively cut them. And now I must find the Windows 7 files synonymous to weaker hardware at least smooth play.

no real problem of the hardware, but a problem of software with a different architecture must support.
This software now holds with the new operating system (win 7 and sometime once synonymous Apple 10.6) into the calculator and generate feed the expected result.
