Thus it is not done, otherwise you could indeed synonymous with your TV remote control and the Cam night filming. There is still some s.optischen filters in the beam path, as far as I know.
Why not in your defective camera to find out what is doing, if you get the NightShot mode. Since clicking on the inside but a little mechanical.

The camera removes the IR filter of the optics, so that the IR camera synonymous absorbs what day it will not do.
