Frage von schingge:Hello,
I wonder whether s.den TV-Out graphics card of interlaced signal is issued. My previous attempts with my ASUS Geforce FX 5200 makes me think not. In particular I am interested in this 128 Matrox Parhelia PH-A8X128.
Background of my question is that I cut my system wants to put together. I would like the opportunity, two TFTs (min. 1 per DVI) adapter plus a video monitor.
The monitors will (sooner or later) may be used:
initially small-standard TV (via S-Video)
later: SonyPVM1440, 1442.1443, or other monitor
-2x TFT 19 "
My choice so far to the scenarios (first regardless of price) are as follows:
1. Datavideo DAC6 (ca.240 ¬)
+ RGB Output
+ + Interlaced TV-out with high quality
Latency
Future security
2. 128 Matrox Parhelia PH-A8X128 (ca ¬ 270) (question: do I spend so synonymous HDTV?)
+ (none) latency
deinterlaced, TV-out (?)
Future security
3. An additional low cost PCI graphics card with TV-Out
+ price
Image
Future security
Compatibility (with AGP card?)
deinterlaced, TV-out (?)
4. My actual (but at the moment probably more expensive) favorite, however, is a new mainboard (ca 100 ¬) + Processor (ca100) ¬ and a Matrox Parhelia APVe (approx. ¬ 270). Thus, I would be synonymous what HDTV is concerned on the safe Page (unless the 128 supports AGP synonymous)
I. Do I have any criteria overlooked?
II Do you have a recommendation for me?
III. Are there any alternative?
It is important to me a reasonable preview video on a third monitor. HDTV is not immediately critical. Unless I'm with the variant (No. 4) for about 2 years on the safe Page (an external monitor once left).
Where at first, I hope you not too much to have zugemüllt. If I should have forgotten something, let me know.
Thank you in advance and gruß
Vincent
For completeness, nor because of my current setup:

ASUS Geforce FX 5200
Athlon XP 3200 +
1GB RAM
Avid XPress

Hello,
Avid provides a preview via firewire? Then I would forget the graphics card and an A / D converter (or synonymous with a camcorder DV-IN) take the synonymous of digital to analog convert can.

Thank you for your response (especially for the link)! I have spent my central question again a little differently.
There is indeed a champion of the synonymous Parhelia APVe, thus synonymous seems quite happy. The question is just how good the controls are the Parhelia.
Can the TV signal to penetrate ungeschönt and thus a (relatively) high quality and reliable previews receive? Perhaps you can here some day the owner of the Parhelia to have your say.
Still propagated, I am very convinced of the Parhelia and have so far really only good experiences with their reading. Especially the HD capability irritates me about the price!
Also another question: does the APVe with Avid XPress Pro HD? I have to read otherwise.
The proposal with the camera, I would like to avoid, because I always found very patched and I also not always a camera with analog-out is available, on the other synonymous'm not willing to buy such.
It ran so in this case to a D / A converter out (My Szenario1). In this case I would be due to the component outputs for the DAC-6 decision. Is there in this price segment (rather cheaper) alternative with component output?

Vincent
Antwort von vdp1331:
So, two questions, I could just on your own on the Matrox Page clarify:
They are interlaced signals can spend and they can under-/overscan play. (at least I interpret the statement "... check for title-safe areas")
Here is the text of the Matrox Page:
"Animation projects for film
For motion graphics designers, animators, and visual effects artists working on animation projects for film, the Parhelia Series affords them the ability to render their animation project - compositing or preview their work - on s.external SD or HD video monitor via the Matrox What -You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) video output plug-in. The video preview allows you to ensure proper 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio and check for safe-title areas, color temperature, and interlacing artifacts that may only become apparent on a TV or HDTV output, all the while benefiting from s. enlarged two-monitor workspace. "

Antwort von Markus:
[data video dac-6] Is there in this price segment (rather cheaper) alternative with component output? The DAC-6 will cost around 260 ¬ (first hit on Google), which for a converter with component output is very favorable. I do not know that it is still cheaper there. Video data is often already in the low price segment.

Thanks again for your answer!
The DAC is the price-performance ratio in my eyes very well ..
Meanwhile, I have, however, another method that:
No. 3 (the McFly method, as I've now found out)
I have a PCI graphics card and will be ordered on the overlay functions of my AGP card (Geforce FX6800 then @ Quadro4000) set. Hereby, I hope synonymous HD to be able to. I hope that everything soklappt I like the idea.
The major disadvantages are that Avid only in the overlay and also reduced Resolutionausgibt deinterlaced, but since I am investing in a shy Mojo and my desktop offset function is not quite geheuer appears, I think that this is my first applications the best solution. (if it works of course ...) If someone experiences with such a setup (similar) has, I would be very grateful of course!
