my JVC unit; GR - D21 E, from the PC is no longer recognized. I had formatted my PC and now he finds the Cam no more.
What am I doing wrong? Can one help me?

I have about 3 years before the above Camera bought new! The first 3-4 experiments, movies on the PC to process functioned properly. But then I had a serious error because my PC Format.
When I then the next time wanted to edit a movie, my PC recognized the Cam no more.
I have bought a new firewire have downloaded Service Packs, have bought a new cable and had the Cam s.verschiedenen other PC `s tried, but no PC recognizes the Cam.
Also I have the Cam s.das factory, where you told me that she was okay. A software for this cam or a driver, there is supposedly not. XP should recognize the Cam itself, but what it does not.
I'm with my Latin s.Ende. Can I use the Cam away now? I am not a professional or PC. Who has a tip for me?

Who has a tip for me? Windows is not my world, but possible sources of error in connection with Firewire - including quite unpredictable from XP Service Pack 2 problems - are listed here:

Perhaps this is something that you have not tried yet?
