Hi,
I've been a long time owner of the above camcorder. He worked for 2 years flawlessly until now suddenly following problem presentation.
When recording, everything is quite normal, the LCD displays, etc. in the Picture. When playing then nothing - it seems only the blue screen, with time display --.--.-- and not just playing the recorded sequence. Even with older bands as does the camcorder so that nothing on it. What can you do? We have a 4-month son and would like to finally make the first recording ....

Hey, exactly the same, I have just synonymous with my JVC. Recording, but only when playing Blue Picture.
I have the service delivered to the JVC and unfortunately not good news received. Water, unit is scrap. There are maybe just some water splashes on the camera came!
Normally the head would be heavily polluted or defective. That was when I first suspected based on symptoms. Repair costs should remain under 300 EUR. JVC estimate of costs 35 EUR.

Yes, with a tape, I first tried synonymous. It costs about $ 10 so. Has obviously not helped me. You can try the course, but when the camera shows nothing at all .... I think less that it helps.

was because during the entire period of stagnation in a tape camcorder? Then, something of the band surface s.den video glued to his head and the recording / playback disturbing.
I would first try a good cleaning. If this fails, it probably ran the service (if that should be worth - I have not seen what the camcorder has cost).
