Frage von flowerbauer:Hello,
I have a problem with the recording of videos to your PC via firewire.
The PC is a Medion with a firewire card of Medion, which was.
Once I have the PC press the recording button starts the camera, but the PC or the program (no preference which, Nero, Pinnacle Studio, etc.) depends on it and no picture. Then only program helps kill the process.
According to users (I look at me the whole thing for a friend) did it ever. And suddenly no more. So we have a parallel installation WinXP and tried a different firewire card.
What more could you still try?
Thank you.

WinDV. Dieses Tool ist sehr robust and sollte funktionieren, sofern nicht etwas gravierenderes wie z.B. ein Hardwarekonflikt vorliegt.
Andernfalls arbeite Dich synonymous da mal durch:
if Firewire is not (right) works

thanks for the tips!
I'll durchtesten times.
meanwhile I have the other pc kamera s.einem tested with a different firewire card.
state of affairs is that the videos included with WINDV. But once a software tries to control the camera, nothing more.
Both computers have winxp sp2.
Yes WINDV takes on after I hit capture and before the camera manual to play center. as does the recording.
looks after the broken dv interface look like? or rather xp sp2?
I will at times continue jedenfall test.
edit:
sp1 on same problem.
nvidia instead of an ATI graphics card.
the camera can be switched by program once (play) and then freezes the program. no image s.pc etc.

I do tend to conflict with the software, but here of course is only a vague conjecture. You do not randomly several different editing programs installed on your PC?
What I mean:
Any software adjusted to the system as it is needed or necessary.
Antwort von flowerbauer:
I had a completely clean installation of XP SP1 with no software, only windv. same problem.
on another computer with sp2 same problem. there was, however, magix video installed. but nothing else. So only one program.
I will now provisionally windv on record and then with an editing program to edit, as the workaround.
