Hello all together,
I'm on the field is an absolute layman camcorder ...
Have before longer a JVC Gr-DVM76U Camera get a gift. Unfortunately, I can not at the movies play on video, only gray and no sound being.
The Usb synonymous times seems to be broken, in any case my laptop detects the camera. I have already inquired with JVC directly, it should actually be identified with Windows. Has anyone a suggestion, perhaps a piece of software?

The name is the one for the U.S. market that MiniDV camcorder, the NTSC format recording. Your main problem but the fact that you are dubbing the videos are trying with USB: This is - as with almost all MiniDV camcorders - solely to transfer of the photos in your camera memory card available in addition to thought. For movies on the PC to play is Firewire (DV = = = iLink IEEE1394) the right way - and if you get on the VCR, then the analog output is required, because with digital data recorders can not bypass.

I saw it with my old laptop with windows xp tried did not, with the new windows vista recognizes not synonymous. Otherwise, all USB devices.

Now I have a dv cable purchased (actually two, a four / six and a four / four.) but still a problem ... no receipt for s.laptop!
and the problem with the usb, I solved the s.der is cam usb 1.1, usb 2.0 laptop s.meinem.
there is any adapter for dv? I think to convert to his other plug, so ichs reinkriegl in my laptop?

soooo is a big step towards finally did get the camera connected, drivers are installed, even had a video part on the screen geguckt. If the Power Producer difficulties, then take the dubbing for the Windows operating system's Movie Maker or the also free WinDV - available here: http://windv.mourek.cz
However, I do not know off the cuff, whether these programs synonymous with your NTSC videos deal with them. Maybe someone can still say something of the experience.
