Hi Folks,
I hope you can help me next - I had more slowly rotating through with my part - to me before my holidays a JVC GR-DX97e increased and locker got filming - on holiday I was running the thing with the message "use cleaning cassette" irritated -- And could some film after several passages' in front and back play to play the tape. Cleaning Cassette purchased and cleaned out - no change!
So once again sent back to the dealer and and today I got the part back again - after some parts were changed, the part is not working again Correct!
Is it normal that the message "use cleaning tape" and to come back? (Usually occurs when I record then exit and start again with a recording)
Can it already synonymous with associated pre-recorded tapes?
Can not go wrong überhaupst what?
How often can I use the DV tapes?
Repeated use of belts can cause damage?

Hi Tom,
when the camcorder is still quite new, should the message "use cleaning cassette" are a distant future. Nor do I think it is normal that you constantly get this message. I have worked for many years with MiniDV camcorders, but even though I sometimes squeeze a lot of the equipment, I've never had a serious problem.
Dubbing tapes several times, does not contribute to this behavior. What could go wrong: take s.Sandstrand DVD without a case directly on the sandy bottom and insert it into the camcorder tape. I am almost certain that someone has already made synonymous times. In this case, it would not surprise me if the camcorder is crying out for a cleaning cartridge - although it would no longer be synonymous really help. I digress from the topic ... ;-)
You can dub tapes MiniDV course several times. I would be synonymous rather assume that the tape suffers faster than the drive.
To the story with the dopped frames when capturing, I have a favorite argument: You do not work randomly with Windows XP and SP2? - It could be synonymous, of course, other causes may be responsible. ;-)
