Hello s.alle,
you know of someone randomly Lanc occupancy of the receipt of the VX 1000? Mir is the ribbon cable (no, not this time .... that of the viewfinder has been renewed ...) of the cracked panel.
Since I live in Spain, it is very difficult and expensive a replacement cable to get (had an offer of 80 euros net excluding tax and shipping fairytale ..... for a Stüch plastic cable).
My idea is, from the control panel cable to the input to determine Lanc.
On the Internet, I have unfortunately no information about the assignment given.

No,
the ribbon cable can not fix, because
1. frickelinsch to the subtle traces of solder
and
2. the matter under the soldering iron melts.
There are, however, the solution to the problem.

but not for the VX1000, but for the VX2000.
This fact provides for the same price more: if your VX1000 DV - In

For good soldering station (if any) you can adjust the temperature and also a very fine tip to use. This should be the problem with the change of physical state be eliminated.
The tip with the control panel for the VX2000, however, is better. ;-)
