Hello,
Unlike the HV20, the Canon XHA1 no HDMI output so that when connected s.einen HD Ready screen (with a corresponding HDMI input) Picture and sound is not digitally transmitted.
As I plan my XHA 1 to buy and the ready-cut HDV movies on tape and then play back on the camera with relatives to start the demonstration (if they possess the appropriate monitor, but now increasingly the case), it would be me interested in how the XHA1 s.den corresponding screen is connected and whether the relevant transfer, as opposed to HDMI quality loss is to be seen.
Most people I know have not even Blue Ray or HD player and I do not synonymous.
PS: I currently cut with Magix VDL 2007 Plus (now SD - Canon XM1).
If in Comparison to HDMI transmission visible quality loss, I would possibly prefer the HV20 and a little wait to tell me maybe 1 or 2 years, a main camera to buy.

The XH A1 is HDV material via component HD Screen s.den connected (which I hardly do myself). On a FullHD (SonyKDL-40W2000) is the picture via HDMI transfer actually a little better than HDV via the analog component connections, possibly but one is the Effect of the internal signal processing of the screen.
But you actually abused his camera as a good player. I have looked for or bought a cheap HV20, which occasionally used as synonymous Recorder / Player s.Schnittplatz used. Otherwise, I play only the XH s.Material with the HV20 via Firewire to cut and play the finished m2t files on hard drive, which on a normal DVD with high resolution of the PS3 or play the file from the Tvix media player of the internal hard drive on The flat is presented. So something like that, I had already thought of me. Unfortunately I have financial reasons not now the possibility of my XHA1 AND a HV20 (as far as I know this device is referred to as "Capture bitch" - but what an insult to the HV 20 is-) to buy.
If you tell me now, but that the apparent difference is not soooo big (most of which are not professional HDV material on your HD Ready Television vorspielt and add one of XHA 1, will probably notice no difference, or is .... I am wrong with this assessment?), I will then buy NOW XHA1 and maybe 2 or 3 years to complete a non bandgestütztes device eg EX1 (which will be so synonymous Full HD) would move.
That my XHA1 then in the meantime is suffering, if I use it as a player I know.

Put me not so tight, is already some time ago since I started this analog HDMI test made. I would say these are the last 10% of the picture quality via HDMI is better, it's usually something the color of the contours are .....

Ich hab mal Full HD Television Sony & Philips of testing, then with SonyHC 7 & FX 7th
Component was not significantly worse for me in a slightly better HDMI movement and a ticker display sharper, maybe a low synonymous better color. As an extremely würd ich but the difference is not marked.

Only the EX1 HD-SDI. And adapters of HD-SDI to HDMI, there is.

I think that it is synonymous of panel to panel is different. With my full HD of Phillips, I think the difference has more than just low.
The Color Matrix wanders into a little magenta, the picture is somewhat blurred, or milky, the contrast is in the basement and the picture is brighter - and much more violent hotspots bloom than via HDMI. Recordings saw the light with the head partially overexposed already, what about HDMI yet clear Durchzeichnung was shown.
My suggestion would be synonymous additional HV20.
But first a good Camera to buy. Until you actually cut things vorführfertig have usually passed a few weeks.
Maybe you can indeed buy an HV20. Or a PS3. Then you have synonymous directly a BlueRay player and can play so synonymous fun.
