Hello
So I know that this topic has been asked many times before here, but I do not understand the answer with the computer language. I would like to transfer the movies of my laptop on the tv, I have got a yellow cable and an adapter so now the two are connected but the image is only black and white and very bad. can someone help me what's wrong? wäre echt super nett. schonmal thank you. lg

Hi Britta,
If you do not see a picture on your television, then you are already a whole next step than many others asker! ;-)
A monochrome image can have several causes:
1. The signal type is incorrect, so the laptop displays a video signal that does not match the transmission path. - Can you choose to be output video signal (composite or S-Video) s.Laptop?
2. The TV standard is not true, that is your PAL Television is such an American leaked NTSC video signal. - Is there a setting for the television standard s.Deinem laptop?
3. The Television expecting a different type of signal, when that is leaked to him. This is the same as in point 1, except that this time is the setting of the TV.

Hi Britta,
if you are synonymous with Markus' should get help to achieve a colored presentation, the quality is still probably pretty bad. The output of the video signal (composite or s-video) by the graphics card of a PC / laptop is in my experience much worse than the signal from a standalone DVD player.

I got the error Geich s.meinem laptop that has an NVidia GeForce graphics card in it. And I am what GeForce graphics cards with multiple monitors or TVs (s) concerned, also s.verzweifeln. I have in my PC since then a ATi Radeon 9700Pro and am very satisfied! On the laptop I have not yet solved the problem, sorry ... But sorrow shared is sorrow halved as we know ;-)

So now I have tried everything but nothing works and I do not really know much about, I have decided to buy myself a dvd player too.
I just wanted to stop to save money but that has not worked well.
oh, and about travel: nee was initially planned only to take my laptop home with never to go.
