again with my Canon XL1S problem:
bin grad in China and therefore I can dabble in Germany not so accurate to the lenses and ready.
Have now found on Ebay a wide-angle lens.
Has anyone had experience with sonem Lens?
For me just a little uncharted territory .....

I'm more from the consumer market, but to buy a converter for a camera with interchangeable lens option, such as the XL 1S?
In the professional area in cameras are extenders - which are mounted between Lens and Camera, but have certain screens Scharfstellprobleme.
I do not know how big the Wide Angled of Canon 's extra for the XL Series XL 3x zoom lens it is as wide Angleist it at least indicated. Would actually make more sense, the lens quality is probably clear in most cases better than a converter for maximum performance & Contrast s.Schärfe obtained.
Who has the 3x wide angle lens for the XL series and who is using Converter?

I use the wide-angle lens and am very happy with it.
The difference is already highly visible, converted to KB to get down to 24mm of the 39mm of the 16x zoom.
I've never worked with one converter, so unfortunately I can not make any statement about how is the quality difference between the two solutions.

Thanks for your report, which confirms my prediction, just right at 24mm - the rich would probably. If not use a converter specially ground lenses, they never come close to a purely calculated Lenses like the XL lens, which is designed for the sensor of the XL series.
