Frage von Surya:Hi,
I'm standing in front of a technical mysteries.
if anyone can help out, thanx in advance ...
I would like to know if it is possible to capture videos with a higher frame rate (eg. for 60 or 100 fps) from the computer with a canon eos 450d with life view.
because if I understood right LifeView means that the current pictore in front of the camera is projected directly on the computer.
theoreticly so, if the preview is not restricted to a standard frame rate,
we should be able to capture with the only restriction of computer power ..?
it would be like in the photo serial shot function. with the difference that the computer can save the data much faster than the camera can.
thanx for any answer,
Surya
Antwort von Schleichmichel:
Very unlikely. In addition, the frame rate in the camera quite limited.
Why do not you write German, as in the past?
Antwort von Surya:
sorry, hab s.ein ask the support forum on the smp-page written and did not want to type everything again.
they are about is not really synonymous sure.
they said the LifeView especially since this would be a life capture program monitors the image of the play (low resolution) and thus in the preview program is accelerated. only when capturing an image, saves the program in the background image in full resolution.
I see this simply as the use of the PC screen as an external display of the camera ...
can be useful, but not exactly answered my question with the recording speed ...
Antwort von Markus:
... my question with the recording speed ... I have just a few technical data. The camera itself creates 3.5 B / s, although limited, that the "speed up [...]. 53 JPEG images or max. 6 RAW images maintain" is.
Once adopted, the above refers exclusively to the internal data storage, it would in the case of an external storage, if necessary, the data rate of the existing high-speed USB port to define the maximum.
High on this interface can be 480 Mbit / s transfer, with the actual value (average of constant use) in practice is closer to 300-400 Mbit / s is located.
How big is because a single picture?
Antwort von B.DeKid:
@ Markus
Approximately 10 MB when RAW image

I have the 450 but not following ....
You want to sort the LifeView mode via PC capture.
If the software of the Canon Picture shows that you can naturally capture.
But the Resolutiondes LifeView image correspond as far as I know only his 10 tel of the actual 12 mega pixels.
So actually ne better webcam.
Idea is nice but I had already synonymous work but does not really.
The format of the EOS is not synonymous then 4:3.

Do you have experience with capturing from TV-out of the 450d?
Would it eigendlich NEN real movie look, if you captured the LiveView. From the depths of her and blur the fact that it is a good DSLR would eigendlich but quite respectable recordings or possible?
Have just the presumption that we have the fact that the LiveView s.and to halt NEN stroke by making the statement.
