Frage von DK:Hello,
we have just for video reports of parties, concerts and other dismal events (in this example, the Blues Brothers Show:
http://www.lottaleben.net/?article_id=930620) a video light for the HC-1 purchased.
First test run yesterday carnival. The problem of course, the high ambient temperatures. And we had batteries of different manufacturers.
But the lamp was already after 10 minutes without power! (The batteries were guaranteed to load.)
Is the sad reality in stuffy locations. Or just because what went extremely wrong?
Maybe someone better Erfarhungen made in a similar environment?

Daniel
Antwort von DK:
None have any real experience with hot-air club and battery-powered lamps made?

I got the lamp is not yet in such a location is used.
Use HVL 20 DW 2, yes there has been a great Battery ran (F 760 / 770 & 960 / 970) so that you can do a few hour.
Batteries What you take for the lamp 10 nH?
Yes 2500 mAh NiMH is not always 2500 mAh - specify what the companies.
BP, Sanyo and Ansmann zb really have then 2400 ¬ effectively, many favorable alleged 2500 mAh batteries have 2000 mAh effectively.
Batteries So go and if not then just Oxyride of Panasonic Batteries - only the very expensive.
Ne scarce Would you have to, but with good Batteries already created ...

Thank you! Yes, that's actually, we are of 2500 went up again ... Now we create the hour.
In the locations you just switch off in between so that the lamp will not overheat. But about the event guests are not necessarily synonymous sad. ;)
Now are super happy with the thing ...

The problem of course, the high ambient temperatures. At least for the battery life is an advantage.
Antwort von Jan:
Conditional Markus, NiMH have a favorite temperature 0-25 °.
Everything & anything much over it is, affects the capacity of the battery.
Before the questions come back, yes, the 1.2 V range. Almost all devices are working with approximately 1.2 V + -0.3 V, the effective payload is not 1.5 V.
Batteries have approximately 50% power loss has less than 1.2 V, NiMH power curve is shallow downhill.
If the lamp is used less frequently, it could be synonymous with the newer NiMH Batteries go like Sanyo Eneloop. Not only that Eneloops nearly completed loading at Purchase, they hold their voltage synonymous for a few years, normal NiMH are definitely empty after 5 months, sometimes synonymous after 2-3. This is s.erhöhten resistance Eneloop.
Eneloops do not have the same "energy density" as normal NiMH.
