Frage von TopGun2000:Hi folks,
I am quite new to the area, actually come from the photography ... but can now implement a website for something on film, to be filmed before a green screen.
To this end, I probably have some pretty stupid beginners questions when it comes to the light ...
I film with a 5D MK II of tripod on an approximately 7x7m panel / wall with green background role. Before that people should act - usually just one alone, but together in a scene once synonymous 4th
I had thought that 4 ich Kinoflo 4-bank / 4 ft suppose .. 2 for the background and 2 for the people ... is it realistic? Does the light output or is it to hire even too much?
Kinoflos really need the three-phase?
Thanks for your help ...

So the 4banks are with certainty, the most popular lamps of Dedolight (or Kinoflo), are used in green screen, however, rather rare. Better are here Flatheads, who deliver proportionally more light.
I count on green screen normally s.Bank bank with approximately 50cm space for the background. At 7m width could barely enough. At the Height 7m with 4banks but just because the light output not to the ground last. Here I would tend to either Flatheads or better yet, put on balloons (Chimera).
To get to 1000 lux, it will need 4banks approximately 1.5-2m apart. At 2.5 meters you have only 500 lux and s.3m then practically only a slight lightening. With four 4banks you will come I believe in 4 people not very far, since I would rather rely on Flatheads (8 tubes) or bounce directly on Buttefly HMIs.
A 4banks need 220W, of a three-phase, we need to be far away. Even a 4KW not working with three-phase, it is protected with 230 and operated with 32A.
