Hello everybody,
For some time I make my first steps in the field of chroma keying. Yet I have been synonymous hinbekommen passable shots, but found time and again that my green screen is lit too bad (and only a small spotlights have).
That's why I googled hard times and have been playing with the idea, I buy the studio set "California":

Alternatively, I have found the studio set "Mexico", which a lot cheaper, but not synonymous quite as powerful:

My green screen is nearly 4 meters wide and about 3 meters high. What do you think one of the above Studiosets is adequate to (sufficient to illuminate the screen, I think, "Mexico" is more likely to take photographs, or could be synonymous to divert the shooting)? Are there less expensive headlights (; sets)? Or maybe someone has a screen of similar size as mine and can give me a practical tip on how many watts are the lights, how big they have and how many should be?

Buy yourself a light meter aka Sekonic light meter of such
The screen should have no light variations of more or less than half blinded.
For this you can use as synonymous fluorescent light color 11 or when warm light is used then use light color 13th
And if you want to buy a light then only ARRI lights everything else is thrown out money.

The frequency here is not so bad ....
Yes you can mix colors ....
With neon lights just depends little light ... One or more additional headlights are therefore needed.

Also you can not use studio speakers like these for everything ... sometimes we must serve once synonymous Colored foil.

Conclusion rather buy something clever ... I perso. tend to share quality time and the costs to last forever, with a service of synonymous even older models should be repaired once times get broken something.
Does not this set is still better than having nothing. As a complement, or for small dioramas intended "class", if only because the softboxes.
Purchase nen, "Reporter" Set .... make up the sides and front and rear each 2 120cm 30 watt fluorescent tubes and the green screen is clean, brightly lit.

But in close-ups as needed so that the skin aka the skin color looks clean.
Light with green screen is most special to play much anyway FarbLooks certain to get attention.
Keying can be provided a screen and a little light is available, well-minute practice time each day 2 to 5, with little mini shots.

Green Screen is ne klasse Sache! Can you play a lot with ;-)

Light is not the same light. When we see a color, different frequencies of light falling on a surface, which in turn reflect back into our eyes. Thus we see colors and can copy a color temperature. So does something like blue or red. As will be divided into black and blue, much daylight and reddish, much to the artificial light. But this is wrong. Not the color temperature is important, but the spectrum of different frequencies. The color temperature can be filtered with natural light, to be with a light bulb and an LED in the same, the colors may be completely wrong. Ie: blue is about the same everywhere in the light blue, but green, yellow and orange look completely different. The same is s.Spektrum of light. Many different frequencies are responsible for the colors, the color temperature is not a result of the spectrum distribution.
