I would be interested how to encode a DVD at the best possible
To achieve quality? All encoder Programs like Cleaner, Squeeze, supply of main concept mpeg encoder I can only find satisfactory results.
If I have a DVD with 4.7 GB and there will raufhaben only 10 minutes, but I would like to improve the quality. Is it or is it on the default settings for dvd mpeg2 dependent?
If I get a DVD with Purchase matrix example look looks great. If
I look out my own DVD with mpeg2, we see that there was simply a compressor s.Werk. Do what the pros what we do not have? Please help, I'm thankful for every tip.

Hello,
if you only need 10 minutes, that would burn a avi file, a solution, but only s.PC, stand-alone DVD players, most will get out in avi. I would not go over 8000kbit / s (video only), as it brings nothing to get out and DVD player. TMPGEnc + Highest Quality shows with me hardly any difference to avi and so it should give even better encoders (eg MainConcept!). However, failure to appear on DVD to avi in order to clear a trail, if this is not an illusion. The filters in TMPGEnc even mild visual (apparent) improvement.

Hello,
The video-DVD, which will run in most standalone DVD players, calls for MPEG2. There's no way around it, if it is used synonymous with 10 minutes of film, only a small part of the DVD storage capacity. A higher data rate than that of the specified Hanzl 8000 kbit / s, I would recommend not because of the problems mentioned synonymous.

Regards With the right settings (up to approx. 8200 kbit, two pass, VBR) and use one of the better of the non-professional encoder may (according to recent tests, for example, Canopus ProCoder Express) can according to my experience, MPEG - quality achieved by the equivalent of the original AVI (almost). Gibts might possibly noticeable loss in extreme movement in the source material.
