I am a cameraman, a client, a web agency, has asked me if I have a live stream (actually live, so from the camera to the Internet) for a press conference they can produce. Did not so bizarre experience.
The beginning is still clear to me: via cameras (HD) into SDI video mixer, because of re-using (HD) into SDI capture card, the computer.
But what happens next then? What software (or brauch ich noch ne hardware) can give me the signal from the mixer in realtime in a stream and convert it directly to the server upload?
Or are there other (simpler / cheaper) options?

But as I said, this topic is not exactly easy.
Especially if the quality is consistent - I would rather time be synonymous.
This costs a few hours training and it really needs more things than just a mixer and NEN Vido I Net access.
