Hello,
I capture an HD Camera HD-SDI via live and directly in Final Cut.
The camera provides only Picture. No sound, no TC.
But I must know exactly what time a recording is started. Am I just would prefer the system time in the Quicktime TC track write.
Gibts da ne way?
Alternatively, one could a TC generator purchase. Den but I have with my Kona LHe can combine these and then take over TC. Or? How?
Or ne other (cheap) capture software that can. If, however, the disadvantage that the clips I then only need to import in FC. Although it would be OK.

On Location for PC or Scope Box for Mac / PC.
Disadvantage: FW transition and thus behind the codec.
