Hello allemitternand,
have a television, a DV Camera with DVi (SonyDCR-PC8E), and two FireWire ports in my computer, no TV-Out.
When cutting of DV footage, the screen image appears on the DVi my camcorder to the TV screen. It would now be very handy synonymous another format via the television camera to send, a la downloaded AVIs of 640x480 dimensions.
