The title says it all. If I am on my computer a live picture of my SonyCam via Firewire and transfer it with Virtualdub capture, or any other prog I have a minimal delay. War I, this latency path irgenwie? And where does this slight delays? In the Cam or the DirectShow filter of Windows? need a lag-Picture for a presentation.

Hello,
I have not experienced a digital system, which works without latency. My analog cards are still quite fast, but everything that goes on Fiwi sometimes takes a little longer.
I guess it is related to that should make the camera stop yet ne DCT compression.
