Frage von fantinger:Hello,
I have an analog video camera with S-video output, which is adapted s.einem microscope. To me the live image view, I have the camera so far with just an S-video cable with the corresponding input of a TV card connected to my PC. This has worked well. Now the PC is soft and is replaced by a laptop. How can I live here a picture in sound quality can show? There is TV / video solutions with USB connection - bring it but the quality of an internal solution? I can imagine that even with the USB2 transfer rate is not quite enough.
many greetings

in this case directly choose a notebook with the needed interfaces. That would be probably the easiest (not cheapest) way.

Hello Christian,
in this case directly choose a notebook with the needed interfaces. That would be probably the easiest (not cheapest) way. Hi Markus,
that would be nice - but there is the notebook already. It is a bit spartan HP nx6110. The corresponding interfaces brings the notebook is not with (except, of course, Firewire and USB2).
many greetings

Hello Christian,
sorry that I only now re-register. In between had a lot to do.
The cheapest solution would be the end of a USB Videograbber, the better the quality Firewire-A/D-Wandler or perhaps synonymous with a camcorder A / D converter function.
How to get with a USB device comes with a preview, I was never particularly interested in (which is usually more gimmick), but you can find here in the forum some evidence.
