'm migrating to know only premiere. Since Elements 3.0 but my processor does not support me, I try just in Magix.
My previous impression: very large, does everything I need, but very overloaded user interface and idiosyncratic operating concept.
But now to my question. Under the "File | Directories" you can adjust the following folders:
- Projects
- Exports
- Import
- Recordings
- Temporary
Since the default settings are a bit strange - for example, is imported to a folder mapped AudioTemp - I would like to make sure what and where lands.
The assistance is unfortunately not her. Not even about the behavior. What happens if I have objects from the media pool in the storyboard - the timeline prefer? Copies are created, if so where. Are the clips on the original location changes, etc. and is absolutely the right way? Do I first takes out of it?

In the program settings are just the default folder, which will be proposed, if you store (pictures, movies, DVD projects = real movie-DVD menu).
