Frage von dsp-nic:Hello friends of moving images.
Have a little problem: import of long files in Premiere CS4.
The files are recordings of the EX3, upon PHU-60 HD. 3x 2h material possessions and recorded with the 2.5 ClipBrowser good rüberkopiert. In ClipBrowser he shows me the files are nicely connected s.wie it belongs (wg fileformat of PHU HD SXS cards and the data is sequenced so) and it plays perfectly synonymous.
Now, the import into Premiere CS4 comes (; with the newest update to 4.1.0) ...
No matter how I import (and either the first clip of the long sequence of import, "or simply Reinziehen about the media browser), Adobe Premiere starts s.das makings of conformal and then the whole system to its knees ... He showed me no picture, depends totally, and finally premiere, there is no reply and I have to stop the rot evil ...
By the way: Import as a tutorial of Sonygezeigt by simply Rüberziehen from ClipBrowser to premiere merely gives an error message and no material appears in Premiere ...
Ok, so I thought, incorrectly, or had broken when copied to the disk, so with the new ClipBrowser of the PHU copied.
The same problem ... And there are still only in the long clips from more than one mp4 folder.
Is there metadata broke down?
How have these (two options in Premiere Preferences> Media to be set, "id write to xmp files on import" and "enable clip and xmp metadata linking)?
It seems to lie out ...
I then finally the individual mp4 files into a new folder copied without the meta-rest and then imported into premiere, and lo and behold, after the indexing everything super ...
But I am losing, unfortunately, synonymous to the original timecode, etc. ..
anyone an idea or experiences with it?
Thank you, I hope I've understood words ;-))

Hello Nic,
I have unfortunately no solution to your problem combative and synonymous with the perils of technology. I try for 14 days to edit mp4 files for my EX3 with CS4, but unfortunately for me rückelt the preview and the system does not work stable. I have the mp4 files directly, however, played as single files with USB cable to the calculator. Can you tell me, with what system you are working with CS4? (; Sata or SCSI hard disks and any processor and graphics card?).
Thank you for an answer.

Moinmoin,
My Calculator is an Intel Q6600 with Asus P5Q-board, 4 gig ram, XP 32bit, 512er graphics, and the plates are 4x 320Gig SATA2 in Raid 5 controller s.Onboard ... 've Noticed that the Raid5 thing though is not quite sure but umbedingt quickly ... that can be measured quite well with HDTune or hdtach.
what exactly did you do then? The mp4-alone data (; questioned without the rest of the metadata) on the disk and then imported into cs4?
Then you need to import after the premiere site is available in ruhe leave this to indexing or conforming, then it would have to go eigendlich, unless the computer is too lame ....

Nic
