yes because it is currently Cashback on the Canon cams are ... I consider the purchase of a Canon XH A1.
How big is because of the low-light difference a Canon XH A1 with a JVC DV 5000 / 5100?
Has someone already made this personal experience?

However, I was before my first shoot with the JVC 5000 very well with the Sony PD170/VX2100 familiar, and what the JVC in Lowlight made, it was my impression after visibly better than the Sony-result (not surprising for the larger CCDs). Since I can not imagine that the XH-A1 at this point s.die PD170 comes, the difference is likely to be even clearer JVC. With hard facts from a direct comparison I can support this view but unfortunately not.

my concern is as good as just about Lowlight!
've Often heard that the Canon XH A1 in Lowlight very carfully.
If this is not better than a PD170 is .. hatt then it is done one way or another.
Is there still someone who has experience with the A1 in Lowlight has?

The significantly higher number of pixels on the same large sensor area brings in natural light sensitivity problems for the generation of new high-resolution camcorder with itself. To my knowledge, the SonyEX1 - with 1/2-Inch-Sensoren! - Be the first HD camera in this class, the s.die Lowlightfähigkeiten the PD170 can reach.
